How often should a deck be restained?
In our climate, every 2–3 years for horizontal surfaces. Our finishes typically hold 3–5 years on railings and vertical areas.
Can you fix grey, weathered wood?
Yes. Stripping and sanding removes the grey surface layer and exposes fresh wood, which takes the stain evenly.
Do I need to be home?
No. Most customers leave a gate unlocked and come home to a finished deck.
